# Protocol Overview

Edel Finance is a decentralized, non-custodial liquidity protocol that enables users to supply and borrow tokenised stocks and RWA's on the Ethereum Virtual Machine. Built on the proven Aave V3 architecture, Edel provides secure, battle-tested smart contracts for overcollateralized lending and borrowing.
