Brand guidelines

Our mission is to empower humanity through access to the global financial system without borders. Edel Stocks brings tokenised equity exposure to Canton. Edel Markets combines off-chain perpetual trading with later settlement on Canton.

The planned On-Chain Margin Layer connects these products by making eligible stock tokens usable as trading collateral. This is part of our wider vision for on-chain prime brokerage. See our vision and product status.

• Clarity:: make product names, actions and status easy to understand.
• Precision:: use accurate financial and technical terms, with explanations for unfamiliar concepts.
• Consistency:: use the supplied marks, colours and product names across applications and communications.
• Restraint:: use a clear hierarchy and give essential information room to be read.

Write in clear, direct language. Lead with what the product does and explain the details a reader needs to make sense of it.

Use short sentences, define specialist terms and support performance statements with a stated measurement or target. Describe planned capabilities as planned. For announcements and partnerships, confirm product names and release status with our communications team.

The Edel identity uses the symbol and wordmark supplied in our logo assets. Choose the light or dark version for clear contrast with the background.

Use deep green, light neutral surfaces and restrained mint accents. Keep typography readable, layouts aligned and spacing consistent. Preserve the marks’ proportions and clear space, and follow the minimum sizes in the asset guidelines.

• Edel Stocks:: native Canton instruments providing contractual economic exposure to stocks and ETFs.
• Edel Markets:: the perpetuals venue with off-chain matching and risk, followed by Canton settlement. Markets is on Devnet, with Testnet and Mainnet coming soon. Positions are private account data; orderbook orders and market data are public. Our Canton integration uses selective disclosure for transaction data. See privacy and market transparency.

• EDELx:: the separate Canton-side token. Use the correct mark and identifier for each token.
