Instruments and holder rights
The economic rights attached to an Edel Stock and how they differ from share ownership.
The legal and economic structure
Edel Stocks are contractual debt instruments tied to a specified reference asset, such as a stock or ETF. Their economic exposure is provided by the issuer under the instrument’s terms.
A token transfer changes who holds that instrument. It does not transfer ownership of the referenced security or confer shareholder status. The rights below summarize the product. For the terms governing a specific instrument, contact our team.
What the instrument provides
The instrument provides economic exposure and can be transferred through supported applications. Access to primary cash redemption requires separate approval.
| Instrument characteristic | Boundary |
|---|---|
| Economic exposure to the reference asset | Provided through the contractual debt instrument. |
| Total-return design | Dividends accrue economically through exposure; multiplier adjustments can reflect corporate actions. |
| Transferability on Canton | Limited to compatible applications and applicable rules. |
| Cash-settled redemption | Available only to approved redeemers. |
| Direct share ownership | Not conferred by holding the token. |
| Shareholder voting and information rights | Not conferred; no other statutory shareholder rights are granted by the token. |
