Primary and secondary access

The primary market creates or extinguishes instruments through minting and redemption. The secondary market lets holders trade existing tokens.

We operate primary issuance and redemption for approved participants, with support from approved market makers. Retail users can trade on supported secondary markets without completing Edel’s primary-market onboarding solely to trade. Applicable legal, sanctions and jurisdictional restrictions still apply.

Broader primary access

We plan to broaden primary-market access to eligible KYC/KYB-approved institutions and individuals. KYC means know your customer; KYB means know your business.

This broader route is not yet publicly available. Holding a token, connecting a wallet or completing onboarding with another service does not grant primary-market approval.

Plan your integration

For issuance or redemption, confirm the participant approval process, permitted operations and supported environment with us. For secondary trading or transfers, also check the selected venue and wallet requirements.

Contact tech@edel.finance with your product and environment details. Stocks primary-market workflows use their own interfaces, separate from the Markets trading API.
