Feature notice — 9 October 2026. For AI generation, we send your question, a limited recent conversation history, the title and path of the documentation page you are reading, and relevant public documentation through our server to OpenAI.

Recent completed messages are saved in this browser on your device when browser storage is available. Saved memory expires seven days after its last update and is cleared when the assistant next loads. Select New conversation to remove the saved conversation from this browser; this does not delete any records retained by the provider.

We disable storage of responses for later API retrieval, but this does not guarantee zero provider retention. OpenAI’s API data controls describe its processing and retention. Do not submit API keys, passwords, passkeys, seed phrases or personal financial details.
