Networks
TestNet, MainNet and DevNet: what each one is for and where to connect.
Three networks
Edel Markets runs on three separate networks, like a blockchain. Each network has its own app, API, accounts, keys and money. Nothing moves between them.
| Network | TestNet | MainNet | DevNet |
|---|---|---|---|
| Status | Open | Not open for trading yet | Unstable, may reset |
| Use it for | Test money: build and test here | Real money, once it opens | Unstable development: new features first |
| App | https://markets-test.edel.finance | https://markets.edel.finance | https://markets-dev.edel.finance |
| REST base URL | https://testnet.edel-api.xyz | https://mainnet.edel-api.xyz | https://dev.edel-api.xyz |
| Realtime (WebSocket) | wss://realtime-testnet.edel-api.xyz/streams/v1/ws | wss://realtime-mainnet.edel-api.xyz/streams/v1/ws | wss://realtime-dev.edel-api.xyz/streams/v1/ws |
| MCP | https://mcp-testnet.edel-api.xyz/mcp | Not published yet | https://mcp-dev.edel-api.xyz/mcp |
Which network to use
Test on TestNet. It is open and uses test money. Build, test and rehearse your integration here. The examples in these docs use TestNet.
MainNet is not open for trading yet. It will carry real money. Its addresses are listed so you can prepare your configuration.
Use DevNet only for unreleased features. DevNet is unstable and can reset without notice.
Keep networks apart
Use the app, API, realtime and MCP addresses of one network together. A key, account ID or order from one network does not work on another. Check the network name in the app before you fund or trade.
The OpenAPI document of each network is at /openapi.json on its REST base URL. docs.edel.finance serves documentation only; it is not an API address. Start building with the developer guide.
