Drag to pan, or use arrow keys when the diagram is focused. Use plus and minus to zoom, and zero to fit. On a touch screen, pinch to zoom.

Confirmed setup, collateral and a fresh preview lead to one submission followed by execution checks.

Edel Markets is a perpetuals trading terminal. A perpetual position gives you long or short price exposure without a fixed expiry. It does not give you ownership of the underlying asset. Read how Markets works and trading risks before placing an order.

This walkthrough applies to accounts with Devnet access. Testnet and Mainnet are coming soon. Confirm Devnet in the application, then check the asset and funding route shown for your account. See environments.

Open the market selector, search for a symbol, and select the market. Check its operational status and the connection indicators. Markets operates perpetual markets 24/7, but a particular market can still be paused or restricted.

Connect and prepare your account

  • 01Select Connect account and use an available sign-in method. Existing passkey users enter the username linked to their passkey; Google sign-in appears only when available.
  • 02Complete any account setup and browser passkey prompts, then review the trading terms and risk acknowledgements shown in the application. Sign-in alone does not establish trading or funding readiness.
  • 03Open Deposit if that control is available. Review the displayed funding intent and approve the requested steps. An available funding intent must be associated with your account before you can continue.
  • 04Wait for a fresh account balance showing credited collateral and Available for Orders. A submitted approval is not a credited deposit.

The account guide and deposit guide explain these steps in detail.

Prepare and review the order

  • 01Choose Market or Limit, then Buy / Long or Sell / Short. Check Current Position before trading against an existing position.
  • 02Enter Size and check whether the size selector uses the base asset or quote value. For a limit order, enter Price.
  • 03Review leverage and any Reduce Only, Post Only, or Take Profit / Stop Loss options.
  • 04Wait for a fresh Order preview. Read Order Value, Margin Required, Estimated Fee, Estimated Slippage, and Liquidation Price where available.
  • 05Submit once when the details match your intent. If submission is blocked, read the explanation below the button.

A preview is an estimate using current account and market inputs. It does not reserve a price, liquidity, or margin. See market and limit orders.

Confirm what happened

Use Open Orders to inspect any resting quantity, Fills to inspect executions, and Positions to inspect the resulting exposure. An accepted order is not necessarily filled. A market order can fill partly and cancel the remainder.

If the result is unknown, select Check status and inspect the account. Do not create a replacement order while the first outcome remains unresolved. The application may retain the exact request and offer an explicit retry after checking its status.

To exit later, use Close in Trade → Positions for the selected market, or a correctly sized Reduce Only order. Follow positions and closing and confirm the remaining size after execution.

Check readiness before submitting

Before submitting, confirm four things: you are signed in to the right account, secure setup is complete, collateral has been credited, and market and account data are current. The ticket checks these conditions alongside the order preview.

Follow any pending action to its result before starting another one. If an outcome is unknown, use Check status and the supported retry for that same request. Confirm fills and remaining exposure in the account; a connected socket or a disappearing row is not enough to establish the result.
