Withdraw collateral
Request a withdrawal, approve it and claim the payout through your account.
Check available collateral and destination
Open Withdraw where owner funding is supported. Wait for a fresh available balance, then enter the amount in the asset displayed. Withdrawals are requested against available margin; cash balance or equity alone does not establish what can be withdrawn. Open positions and reserved funds can affect availability.
The current interface sends the payout to your authenticated funding wallet. It does not offer an arbitrary destination address field. Review the environment and destination before requesting the withdrawal. This funding route is currently a Devnet workflow. Testnet and Mainnet are coming soon. See collateral.
Complete the request and payout claim
- 01Enter an amount within the freshly loaded available balance and select Request withdrawal once.
- 02When Approve this withdrawal appears, select Approve with passkey and approve the withdrawal consent.
- 03While the payout is being prepared, use Check withdrawal status.
- 04When Claim your payout appears, select Claim payout with passkey and approve receipt into your funding wallet.
- 05Continue checking until the screen says Withdrawal complete.
Approval and payout acceptance are distinct steps. Payout accepted means the wallet received the payout while the trading account balance may still be updating.
Read the current withdrawal state
Open a recent withdrawal and check its current status to find the next action. Transfer history can lag, so use the withdrawal detail flow to decide whether an approval or claim is due.
| Screen state | What to do |
|---|---|
| Approve this withdrawal | Review the request and approve with your passkey. |
| Approved. Waiting for settlement | Check the same withdrawal again for the next step. |
| Claim your payout | Approve receipt with your passkey before the offer expires. |
| Payout accepted | Check until the trading account update is complete. |
| Withdrawal complete | The payout and account update are confirmed. |
| Payout expired | Contact Support; the unclaimed payout must be reclaimed. |
| Payout reclaimed or Withdrawal failed | Review the current balance and confirmed result before requesting another withdrawal. |
Recover an interrupted withdrawal
If a request times out, retain the current tab and use Recover same request when offered. This resumes the saved request instead of creating a duplicate. You can also open a listed recent withdrawal and select Check status.
Do not submit a new withdrawal simply because the first request disappeared from a history view or an approval returned no clear result. The history list is not the source of truth for payout completion.
A payout approval can expire while you complete the passkey prompt. If the flow returns to Approval required, review and sign the fresh challenge for the same withdrawal. After a refused claim, wait for the withdrawal status to confirm the next available action before trying again; do not reuse a previous signature.
If the saved request cannot be recovered safely, or a payout expires, contact Support. Include the environment, approximate time, amount, asset, and non-secret reference shown by the application.
From withdrawal request to payout
A withdrawal reserves available collateral, obtains the required authorizations, executes on Canton and presents the payout for owner acceptance. The stages have separate confirmations, so a successful request does not mean the funds have already arrived.
Approve the withdrawal, then claim the payout. The first owner approval authorizes the withdrawal. A later approval accepts the payout into the funding wallet. Follow both steps when requested.
Confirm the ledger movement. The trading engine records the debit after Canton confirms that the withdrawal authorization has been consumed. The payout may still await owner acceptance.
Follow the enabled funding route. USD.E and USDCx custody flows differ. Use the workflow shown for your account and check its completion receipts; not every environment enables both assets.
