The role of EDELx
EDELx is our Canton-native ecosystem token. It is live on Canton, with access requirements and permissions defined by each product or program in which it is used.
EDEL, EDELx and Canton Coin
The names refer to different assets and roles.
Conversion is program-specific
EDEL and EDELx are distinct assets. There is no general bridge or fixed conversion ratio specified between them. Any conversion, redemption, bridge or equivalence requires an official Edel program with defined terms.
A wallet displaying both assets does not mean they can be exchanged at a fixed rate or redeemed for one another.
Access and identifiers
Canton wallets and venues include Loop Wallet, Cantex and OneSwap. Asset and operation support varies, so confirm compatibility with the application you intend to use.
